Every element had to earn its place —
to fit all appliances without overwhelming the space.

The large window brings in wonderful light,
although it significantly reduces storage.

Nevertheless, I left the counter below it open —
for ventilation, and as a spot to sit and eat.

The refrigerator is the right size,
yet its visual weight needs to be reduced,
as it feels oversized in the small kitchen.

A wood-clad wall and matching countertop
bring warmth and texture,
softening the compact layout
and making the space feel inviting.

The white tiles were replaced with grey ones,
which draw the eye to move horizontally across the room
and add a subtle sense of space.
