This home was originally set for renovation, but the owners eventually decided to demolish all the exterior walls and rebuild them using higher-quality bricks with better insulation. It was too late to revise the design plans by then, as all permits had already been approved.

This wall was designed to become a built-in library with space for a TV in the family area. Out of three design proposals, this cleaner version, without exposed brick, was ultimately chosen.
